Papa and Mama usually placed me along the length of my baby cot when i need to sleep. Recently when they picked me up for milk after 2-3hrs, i was sleeping perpendicular to the length of the cot instead.
I’m shifting my body position when i sleep. This is due to the numerous stretching and twitching during my sleep.
Papa left for Indonesia. He will be away for 7 days. Mama and I headed for 婆婆’s place early in the morning with our barang barang bcos we were staying over for the week. I hope to adapt well over there. =)
Hmmm… I’ll miss Papa’s voices and singing.

Oops! Am i starting to drool??
Papa noticed i’m able to hold my eyelids for quite long without blinking. Thus, he challenged me to play the blinking game with him. Whoever hold his eyelids longer wins.
Papa happily declared i lost the game! Hmmm… did he play cheat?
Papa: Jayden, are you aware that Papa is playing the blinking game with you?
I was placed on my belly again. This time round, i was able to lift my head up and turn my face from side to side. I did it without any grunts… Hooray!!
Papa and Mama called it a day after seeing me licking the bedsheet.
Hmmm… i seemed to develop a liking for licking things. hahaha… ^.^

I’m over 4kg now. For the exact weight, we’ll know when we visit the pd next month.
A hungry man is indeed an angry man!
I was screaming for milk and during my struggle, my mittens dropped and i accidentally scratched Mama’s face.
Oops! Mama’s face had 2 visible scratch marks now. -_-”
It must be painful.
Getting me to sleep on my cot after feeding was very much a challenge. Papa and Mama attempted to put me on my cot when i got drowsy in their arms so that i can learn to sleep on my own. However, the attempt did not work many times. After a short while on my cot, i started crying for cradle again. Fearing that i might not sleep well with the so many disturbances, they cradled me longer in their arms.
Seemed that I’m helping them to build big arm muscles. hahaha… ^.^
To stop me from crying, Mama started reading to me and showing me picture books. There was once when she showed me a picture of an ‘Ang Moh’ lady from the Her World magazine. And amazingly, i stopped crying. hahaha…
Oops, is this an inheritance from Papa??
Papa bought me a musical mobile when i was 3 weeks old. The musical mobile was placed on top of my baby cot. Previously i was not interested in it at all. Recently, i showed a keen interest in seeing the giraffes, lion and elephant moving in circles.
I’m more responsive to moving objects now. ^.^

Papa and Mama refused to give me the pacifier. In order to satisfy my sucking urges, i pulled the bolster next to me and began licking it. But it’s simply too big to suck on. Bad choice huh?
I just taken my milk an hr ago. Thus, it’s definitely not due to hunger.
Mama pushed the bolster back to it’s original position and the cycle continues. hahaha… ^.^
Finally, the bolster anchored to a position where it blocked me from turning back to my favourite right side. As a result, i cried and Papa had to pacify me. The scene is such a comedy that Papa and Mama burst out into laughters. haha.. ^.^
I learnt my lesson.
I smiled at Mama twice while waiting for Papa at the void deck to fetch us to 外婆’s place. Mama wondered, ‘Is that a real smile?’
Papa and Mama can’t wait to see u smiling happily back at us.
I went for Weifeng 小叔 & Zixuan 小婶’s Solemnisation ceremony at Imperial Teochew Restaurant, Takashimaya. They decorated the function room beautifully with rose petals. Mama likes the ambience of the restaurant.
Mama said the food in the restaurant was delicious. The portion is small though. =p
Sob sob… i’m too young to savour the food. Wait till i get older. Anyway, the air con was so powerful that i spent the entire time sleeping in the pram. hahaha…
Weifeng 小叔 & Zixuan 小婶 bought me a pendant. Thank you, Uncle/Auntie! ^.^

I’m 5 weeks old. Papa and Mama sings to me everyday since i’m born. These are the songs that they sing:

Papa likes to sing mandarin oldies to me. Hmmm… songs from his era? haha… ^.^
I’m able to move my head from side to side to track moving objects that 姨姨 showed me and support my own head for a short period of 10s.
My nanny (Ah Hoon) who helped to take care of me and stayed with us for 28 days finally left. Mama brought me to 外婆’s place so that her confinement meals will be taken care of.
I couldn’t sleep at 外婆’s place as it’s packed with people, 阿姨，小舅, 大舅, 外婆 and 外公。 I spent the day gazing at their faces and listening to them chatting. I must be very tired bcos i fell asleep on my own home.
With the departure of the nanny, Mama and Papa will have to take care of my needs all by themselves. Daily routine includes feeding 90ml of milk every 2-3hrs, sterilising the milk bottles, bathing, changing diapers on every feed or when i cry, washing my cloth diapers/clothes/mittens/booties/etc. Life is just starting to get busier for them. hehe… ^.^
