Nnnnnnnnnnnggg… Geng Geng!
Haha! Mama and papa couldn’t help to control the laughter. I was so comical that both of them kept laughing hysterically.
What happened was, I was flipping through a book on trucks and I saw the garbage truck. I pointed to it and i went “Nnnnnnnnnnnggg… Geng Geng!”.
Every morning, the garbage truck would stop outside Ah Gong’s shop to collect the trash and that is the sound it made. I just like to imitate the sound. ^^
There have been past occasions that you slept through the night (i.e. when Papa turned on the air con, routine bedtimes activities, etc). However, these 2 weeks, you had been waking up numerous times at night. Sometimes due to hunger, sometimes due to play and your cold. There was a few times you woke up at 3am and played in your cot till 5am. Your new found skill (standing up on your own) must have kept you active at night since you are only able to practise it at home.
Mama believed the teething has caused you to wake up too. Noticed that you sucked your thumb and drooled whenever a new teeth developed.
Hope this challenging stage will pass soon…-_-”

I like to do lots of exercises such as cycling and crunches. Crunches is still my favorite form of exercises because it allows me to explore my legs and toes. I can catch hold of my own feet now.
Papa Papa, Come & Join Me!
I don’t like to be alone for too long when i’m awake. After getting tired of playing with my hands and trying to get them into the mouth, i will cry to get Mama’s attention.
We had many rounds of playing sessions today. We took turns to communicate with each other. Our way of communication is taking turns to ‘Ahhhhhgoooo….’. Mama couldn’t help breaking into laughters whenever i replied her.
I like to tour around my house and look at colorful picture books. Mama will play musical songs to me too. I can hold both of my hands together nowadays.
I like to show off my new skill of blowing through my lips by blowing bubbles.
I don’t seemed to be keen in playing Peek-A-Boo! Mama got to keep trying.
I had my PD checkup today. I’m 5.022kg now. Haha… this is equivalent to 1 packet of rice! =) And also Mt Alvernia always give 4 digits for us to buy 4-d. So funny…
I’m 55cm now. Head circumference is 37.5cm. PD said i’m growing very well.
However, there’s 2 things that Papa and Mama need to take note of.
1. My nose is still blocked. PD advised Papa and Mama not to try to take out the mucus since i’m eating and sleeping well. This is to ensure they won’t cause any distress to me.
I’m making snorting sounds due to the blockage to the small nostril and airway. Let nature takes it course. Mucus, mucus, pls drop out soon!
2. Enzema : PD advised Mama to revert my FM to Nan HA as i’m sensitive to Nan. The red patches on my face is due to the sensitivity to Nan FM.
I had my rotavirus & 5in1 vaccines too. I was very brave. Made a little cry when the needle was inserted deep into my thigh. After that, Mama coaxed me a little and i calmed down.
I got slightly feverish (37.4 degree celsius) at ard 8pm. Mama wiped me with cool boiled water 3 times over 2hrs and the feverish warmth diminished. Thank you, Mama! I sleep better now…
Mama always says i’ve got pretty eyelashes ^^
A hungry man is indeed an angry man!
I was screaming for milk and during my struggle, my mittens dropped and i accidentally scratched Mama’s face.
Oops! Mama’s face had 2 visible scratch marks now. -_-”
It must be painful.
Papa bought me a musical mobile when i was 3 weeks old. The musical mobile was placed on top of my baby cot. Previously i was not interested in it at all. Recently, i showed a keen interest in seeing the giraffes, lion and elephant moving in circles.
I’m more responsive to moving objects now. ^.^

I smiled at Mama twice while waiting for Papa at the void deck to fetch us to 外婆’s place. Mama wondered, ‘Is that a real smile?’
Papa and Mama can’t wait to see u smiling happily back at us.
A big thanks to all the aunties, uncles, ge ge, jie jie men who visited and cradled me. I hope you had fun and enjoyed the buffet, red eggs, ang ku kueh, glutinous rice, pig trotters..
It has been a fun day for me, gazing and studying all your faces. I was awake from 10am. Finally managed to get a nap at around 4+pm.
My actual 满月 falls on 4 Jan 08. It was brought forward because it’s a Friday and 公公 said it must be celebrated no later than the actual day.
My acne was diminishing after days of wiping with clean warm cloth after each feed. Good job, papa, mama!
婆婆 proposed to papa and mama to bath me in the following essence so that i will have beautiful flawless skin:
1. Guiness Stout
2. Flower Oil
3. Hennessy
Does all these help?? Hmmm… Is papa and mama going to try them on me?
